Louisiana law prohibits compensated surrogacy in the state. It is one of only 3 states where it’s against the law to pay a gestational surrogate. Michigan and Nebraska are the other states where compensated surrogacy is illegal.
If you’re interested in being a surrogate for intended parents in other states, Surrogacy.com will support you. As a surrogate, you’re helping people who, for one reason or another, are unable to conceive or carry a baby to term.
The first step in the surrogate journey is to ensure you qualify. After you submit an application, one of our team members will reach out to you and be your resource, answering any questions you may have. We promise to be open and honest with you about what to expect and will work as your advocate in finding an agency that aligns with your expectations.
