The Joy Of Being Grandparents

Our daughter and her husband, who are biological parents through a surrogate carrier, have two precious, healthy little boys. They are the joy of their lives, and we, as grandparents, could not be any prouder. Since we are the parents of two grown daughters, neither of whom (due to physiological reasons) can carry a child, we waited a long time, thinking that we might not ever be grandparents, or have the joy that grandchildren bring. When our daughter told us of the plans she and her husband had made to have a surrogate carry their children, we had mixed feelings, but supported them in their decision. They were very successful in the procedure with no complications.
The miracle of the birth of their two children has made us the proudest grandparents that we know. We simply adore our grandchildren!
May the generations continue for our families.
