I'm Spencer Bergstedt and I have been practicing law in Seattle since 1990. I am a 1988 graduate of the University of Washington Law School. I received my B.A. cum laude from the University in 1985.
I emigrated with my parents to the U.S. from Sweden in 1965 and we settled in Seattle. This place is home for me and I have a strong commitment to helping make Seattle a great place to live. In addition to my practice, I have been an active participant and board member of numerous non-profit organizations. I have also had the pleasure of serving as co-Chair of a city commission advising the mayor, city council and city departments.
My practice is devoted to helping people - whether it be through adoption, paternity actions, living together agreements, pre-nuptial agreements, planning ahead for the future or relieving debts. I also serve small business clients by providing advice and assistance from starting up to building success and moving through growth.
My firm also handles immigration matters, including international adoptions, as well as DUI and criminal defense.
