Amniocentesis:
A procedure whereby a needle is inserted through the abdominal wall to sample the amniotic fluid from the uterus of a pregnant woman to obtain important information about the fetus.
Artificial Insemination Surrogacy:
A woman who becomes pregnant by inseminations from the male partner of an infertile woman. Following pregnancy and birth, she relinquishes the child for adoption by the couple.
